Earthquake in Nepal

I wasn't going to start posting yet, but this is too important to let pass.

On Saturday a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal and the surrounding countries, causing severe damage. The quake was centered just outside the Nepalese capitol, and has caused deaths in India and China as well. As of Monday morning, over 4000 people have died, thousands more injured, thousands missing, and over ten thousand have been left without shelter.

This is the worst quake to hit the region in over 80 years.

Aid is flowing into Nepal from all over the world, but there is still not enough. The capitol is still filled with rubble and debris, and dozens if not hundreds of villages have not yet received aid.

Clearly the situation is still developing, but if you have not already (or even if you have), consider donating to a charity that you trust that will get more aid to Nepal.

If you will not or cannot do that, please be praying for the people there, the aid workers, the governments responding, and everyone else involved.

Please, let's try to get as many people as we can talking about this.

You're in our thoughts and prayers, Nepal.

God bless you all.
