Welcome

 Hey there! Welcome to Clothed with Thunder. 

 This is a blog about my life since I embraced being a nerd.

 I'll write about My Little Pony, Adventure Time, Futurama, Minecraft, Assassin's Creed, and anything else that catches my fancy.

 I will keep my posts free of profanity, and will generally avoid inappropriate topics, but this blog is geared more towards twenty-somethings than kids.


 Generally, posts will fall into these categories:

• Off-Topic: Kind of a catch-all for stuff that doesn't fit elsewhere.

• My Take: These are opinion pieces on various topics from inside and outside the nerd world.

• Impressions: When I finish watching/playing something, I'll post my thoughts. Please note that these are not reviews, just observations. TV shows will be divided by season.

• Holiday: On every holiday that I celebrate (and some that I don't) I'll post some appropriate content. What that entails will vary greatly. If a Holiday falls on a day I'd normally post something, it will be the post for that day. If it falls elsewhere, you'll get an extra post, just for the holiday.

• Milestones: Whenever I pass a milestone, I'll make note of it with a special post. These will not replace count as that day's post, unless I do something unique to celebrate. Milestones will include pageview totals, anniversaries, mentions by others, etc.

• Rant: Pretty straight forward. I'll pick a subject and list my problems with it. These won't happen too often.

• Analysis: Exactly what it says on the tin. These'll be about MLP, or other shows and games. I'll break down what we know from various sources and come to some conclusion. I might take some leaps in logic, and speculate without specifically tying into canon works. I must warn you, some of these will get a little "out there."

• Fanfiction: Any fanfics I write will be posted here.

• OCs and OC Art: Anything involving my OCs that isn't straight fanfic will go here. This will include art by other people.

• Other Posts: If I have something else to say, it may not fall into one of the above categories. These posts may not be labeled.

• Community Spotlight: I'll feature a member of the nerd/brony community who contributes a lot. The exact nature and layout of these posts will vary greatly.

 There may be a small section at the bottom of each post where I talk about myself and my personal life in italics.

 Please remember that these subjects may attract younger readers. Because of that, I ask that you keep your comments polite and not use strong language. I'll try to read all of them and respond to any I need to.

 If you have any questions, feel free to ask. No topic is off the table.
