RIP Pooch

As we say goodbye, this is what I pray:

That we would remember the good, and forget the bad.

That we would speak in love, and not from grief.
That we would find solace in each other, and in you, God.
That we would mourn, but that you would comfort us.

That you would protect us in our time of sadness.

And that when the time is right, you would help us move on.
